Voith Turbo is the leasing manufacturer of hydrodynamic variable-speed couplings, variable-speed gear turbo couplings and torque converters. They are used to control pumps, compressors, blowers and mills, and to start up gas turbines - in short, wherever amximum operating safety and precise, high control dynamics at lowest operating and maintenance effort are required.

Control equipment for turbo machines

Modern turbo machinery needs to fulfill two basic prerequisites - optimum operation and low impact on the environment. Voith Electronic Drive Systems are active in the field of positioners and control for turbo machinery. This comprises actuating equpment for gas turbines, steam turbines and compressors, such as for example complete valve assemblies (valve with servomotor), servomotors or pilot controls designet as I/H-converters and way valves for existing positioners and the digital control system TURCON (turbine control) for steam turbines and compressors.

Universal-joint shafts and couplings

Voith power transmission systems do not only control and convert torques, but also reliably transmit there from the input to the output drive, by means of universal-joint shafts and mechanical coulings; if required, theses may also serve vibration damping or torque limiting functions. They are employed in rolling mills, rail vehicles, construction machinery, ship's propulsion, engine and joint test stands, as well as special transmissions.
